The Texas Miata Challenge

Drive to each of the 10 designated points in Texas. Take a picture of you, your Miata, and the specified item at each destination. (Or get as close as you can with the car!) Each picture should include a date stamp on the picture if possible. If both driver and co-pilot are participating, both must appear in the picture. Entries with all 10 destinations will receive a specially designed pin and t-shirt. Pictures can be submitted either digitally or as 4x6 prints on photo quality paper. Mail or turn entries into Bruce Gibson by October 1 of each year. Awards will be given out at the Annual Miata State Roundup.

Mail 4x6 prints to: Bruce Gibson, 1020 Mesa Ct., Shady Shores, TX, 76208

or email to: Bruce Gibson at brucegibson5@gmail.com

So get out and drive your Miata around our beautiful state! Take your pictures and also take time to explore the area around the challenge site. It is not just about being there and getting a t-shirt, but also about driving our fun cars to new locations and getting a chance to see what else is there.

The inaugural challenge occurred in 2014. It featured interesting sites around Texas. You can view information about it by clicking the following link: Texas Miata Challenge 2014

The State Roundup occurred early in 2015 and attendance at the Challenge was down. The Theme of the Challenge in 2015 was Texas Musicians. You can view information about it by clicking the following link: Texas Miata Challenge 2015

Third time will be the charm in 2016. The Challenge invites you to tour 'Wierd Texas' as you venture to sites inspired by the book of the same name. You can view information about it by clicking the following link: Texas Miata Challenge 2016

2017 will see the Challenge grow to new heights. This year we will check out the best burger places in Texas. We also introduce the option to hit all the spots or only just the basic 10. If you do all the spots, then you get into the drawing for great extra prizes. You can view information about it by clicking the following link: Texas Miata Challenge 2017
